Thank You Card

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Looking through some of my older Cricut cartridges, I came across this card image. I do not know why I have never made the card before, but I decided it was time to try it. Card measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Patterned papers are from Prima The Second Wind 12" x 12" paper pad.

Cricut Cartridges:
Damask Decor   - Damask Card is cut 8.50" wide x 5.50" high.
Hopeless Romantic Font - I wanted to make this a Thank you card. Using the font, I cut the letters at 2.92" wide x .883" high. Letters were glued in the open space on front of card.
Inside the card:
Anna's Flourish Cards and Embellishments - Thoughtfulness sentiment is written on an inserted 4" x 4" square paper with the Cricut Midnight pen. Isn't that a pretty and meaningful sentiment!
Country Carnival - Country Rose is a print and cut image. Size measures 1.391" wide x 1.278" high. I think the flower printed out pretty.

 Inside of card.

I am happy with the results of the card!  Hope you enjoy!

Die Cuttin' Divas - Ch. 319 Anything Goes

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

It is time again for another fun challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas! Ch. 319 is Anything Goes. This may be one of the favorite challenges. Our challenges do require the use of a die cut!

I am late in making my blog post. We had very severe storms in my area on Sunday night. Just a few broken limbs at my house but many folks have had massive clean-ups with home damages and vehicle damages. My parents' place had lots of damage. Some areas have been without power for more than two days. Thankfully no one was injured. My Internet access has just been repaired.

My card measures 5" x 7"  and is cut from white Colorbok cardstock. Other solid papers are Recollections and patterned paper is from K&Company.

Cuttlebug:
Anna Griffin Mix and Match Folders - Calligraphy Frame is used on the pink paper. Happy birthday to you is embossed on the white paper.
Eleanor Laces Cut and Emboss folders are used on the two yellow images.

Cricut Cartridges:
Anna Griffin Vintage Florals - Carolina 4 flower group is cut 2.3" wide x 3" high. I cut two images and used pop-dots between the layers.
Inside the card----
Anna's Sophisticated Soiree  - The white chain label is cut 4.50" wide x 2.39" high.
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2 - You Are So Special is printed using the Cricut Pink Crystal pen on the white label.
Inside of card.

Make a Wish - Birthday Boy Cards

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

Today I am sharing a birthday card that is really quick and easy to make! Recently I purchased a Cricut Mystery Box which included five digital cartridges. I have not had time to play with many of the images yet, but I am really liking this image. Solid papers are Recollections and patterned paper is DCWV Floral Stack.

Cricut Cartridges:
Alexis Mattox Quick Cut Cards - Make a Wish card is cut at 10" wide x 13.31"high. You will notice the front of the card has cut out areas and also some pen work areas. I used the Cricut Jade pen. I like the green and pinks together.
Anna's Lovely Layered Cards 2 - Sentiment Happy Birthday to You is printed with the Jade pen on a 3.50" x 4" inserted shape. I added a layer of pink paper under the sentiment. This is used inside the card.

A small butterfly is added on the front of the card.

Also needing a birthday card for my grandson, I decided on another quick cut card using red, white, and blue papers.

Cricut Cartridges:
Alexis Mattox Quick Cut Cards  - Birthday boy is cut 5.5" x 8.50". This size does not include the featured envelope. I used the Cricut Midnight pen for the writing on the front of the card.
Inside of card:
Cricut Font and Basic Shapes - Happy Birthday is cut 4" wide x 1.602" high.
Life's A Party   - Baseball is cut 1.50" wide x 1.48" high.

Both cards came together pretty quickly. Glueing is what takes the time! I do like the results.

2017 Graduation Cards

Welcome to Glenda's Cards!

I was asked to make a few graduation cards. Since my time was very limited, I chose to do some simple cards for the senior guys using the school colors. Papers are Recollections and cards measure 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

Cricut Cartridges:
Simple Everyday Cards - The red Good Luck card is cut 8.571" wide x 5.548" high.
Anna's Garden Cards & Embellishments - Sentiment is written on a 3.75" wide x 4" high white paper using a Pilot Precise V5 blue pen. This is used inside the card.

Inside

Simple Everyday Cards - The blue Best of Luck to You card is cut 8.498" wide x 5.50. That size
Thoughts and Phrases -The Little Things - Sentiment is written on a 2.927" wide x 3.25" high white paper using the same blue pen as listed above. This is used inside the card.

 Inside
I hand cut a piece of paper to make a little pocket for each card. The area can be used for a gift card or cash.

The two cards for the kindergarten boys are also 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white cardstock.
Cricut Cartridges:
Wrap It Up - Graduate is cut 4" wide x 3.95" high. I also used school colors for these two cards.
Cake Basics - Best Wishes is cut 3.75" wide x 1.712" high. This image is used inside. I do not have an available photo.
Just for fun, I added some pencil and star stickers that I have had for ages! Also I added some dash marks on the hat using the Gelly Roll pen.
